To be comfortable using PlaceCal, you’ll need to be familiar with at least the following things:

• Basic IT skills like copy and paste, navigating with a web browser, logging into things, and understanding what links are.
• Calendar or event software (e.g. Google Calendar, Eventbrite) to create listings for events.

What If We Don’t Have These Skills?

If no one in your organisation has these skills, there’s someone you can ask for help. It’s probably the person who you met with to talk about getting on PlaceCal, and if not, they should be able to direct you to the right person: a Curator or Community Development Officer for the partnership you want to join.

Failing that, the PlaceCal website for the partnership you want to join should have a public contact listed on the front page.
